Great shots Ron :icon_thumleft:, how did you uplight? , however you did it you got it just right  . I must try the suet/fat/peanut butter thing too :laughing7: . I have been planning a shoot over on the marshes here using the flash extender for the owls and harriers due to the light being pretty bad just recently, but I must say your pics are superb

Hey Ian,

I have never tried the flash extender.

The lighting on these turned out like this because it was sunny here this morning. Even though the bird was in the shade the light was reflecting up from a snow bank between me and the bird.

Heres a link for a suet recipe. http://www.ehow.com/how_2299264_make-bird-suet.html

Thanks Ian and ALL,

Ron

[/quote]Hey Ian,

I was just thinking, you can get one ready made suet cake and put that out and see if it attracts anything before mixing up a big batch of the other stuff.

Only about 1.50 for one cake here.
