nice finds congrats HH i got my garden plowed saturday now im waiting for a rain

I couldn't wait for the rain...I'll probably be unable to hunt when it rains. Super busy this time of year with work (whitewater rafting industry) and baseball season gearing up. I'm crossing my fingers though. And saying prayers. And crossing my feet. Lol

calling for rain sometime this week my gardens only about 70 by 90 feet been thanking about plowing a few place's in the field before long just for test spots

Is that slate Brandi?

No, I think they're just flakes from a flint that's predominant in this area - kanawha. It ranges from very dull to slightly glossy. There is a good deal of slate here and I often deal with running into when hunting. Less density, weight, etc... Plus most crumbles easily. Thanks for the reply.

I have not seen any Kanawha since 37 posted some. Good local material to work and well used. Thanks for sharing.
