OMG - Did you do this or did you get this picture somewhere? I am curious how long it took to stack them this way. Very cool!!

The bottom level is 40x40 (I had to count... ) with each level one less.

So assuming each stack is 10 coins high, the pyramid would be made of 221400 cents.

So the cost is $2214.00.

Regarding the weight, assuming that it is made only of the "lighter" post-1982 pennies it would be 221400 * 2.5 grams = 553500 grams or 553.5 kg.

If it were made of the heavier pre-1982 copper coins, the weight would be 688.554 kg.
 

After looking at that...one thing comes to mind.

At least I don't have to roll them! ;D
