Hi guys, this is stamped Sterling and it is hollow, about 2" long,,any ideas would be appreciated!!

Not saying this is what it is by any means, but it greatly resembles a scissor's handle. any indications as to what the markings are?

I posted this for hunting bud and awaiting better pics and info. I was there when it came up and its very light and hollow and pretty sure the end isn't threaded
