Standing Liberty Quarter and a Merc.

[Corinth1812]

Managed to get about an hour in this afternoon, 69 degrees here in southern illinois. Pulled a no date D mint SLQ, and a 1944 merc. These were both next to old chainlink fences. Fortunately i was able to hear just a enough to know there was something there. I will defintley be going back and hitting that fence a little bit slower. These are silvers number 29, and 30 for 2011.

I will have to say that you are on a roll!!!!

Im off to the fastest start ever, and im not even hunting that many new spots, most of my silvers are coming from places ive hunted for years. When do you think you'll be able to get up this way for a hunt with us I cant believe these spots are still giving up silver.

Thirty silver coins for 2011 is just amazing! I am still trying for my first for the year. I've found a V nickle and 8 Indian heads so far this year, so I know I'm hunting the right spots. Again, congratulations on all the silver.
