Star object, what is it?

[Kapidr]

Found with my excal on a Florida beach after hurricane Matthew came through. Anyone know what it is? It weighs 9.5 grams.

Maybe a medallion off of a cap gun holster?

How about right off a cap gun?

Seems too big to be off a gun...unless it was a HUGE gun.

[Rogue Relic Hunter]

looks like same star from the gun pic. maybe rifle version OR a rifle holster?
