Started My Year.

Well got my diving season off to a start today. Usally I have to wait till mid June due to the cold water here in NY. But the water temp today was 60 degrees. Stayed in for 61 Mins checking out the wreck that I posted pics of a few weeks ago. Was very nice opener dive. Had an excelent time. Wasnt even cold when I got out. Wore the 7mm one piece with hood and gloves. Felt like a nice warm bath. Anyway the wreck turned out to be a barge like I thought nothing special just good fun. Cant take anything here in NY anyway so it is a lookie no touchie type of thing for me.

Man I can't even tolerate 60 degree water with a 7mm wetsuit and hood

Good for you though and for getting out there! The freakin wind hasn't stopped blasting us here since February so I have no idea when the heck I'll be getting wet again.

Ya I am sure the water temp gets nice if Florida. I have never been anywhere else but here though for me 60 is nice. Never dove in an ocean before. Have been what I like to call dark diving since the beginig. Visability anywhere from 1/2 foot to a full foot on a good day. Has always been a dream of mine to dive on a wreck in the ocean or really clear water though. Maybe one day.
