I went to a detector meet yesterday and it was raining so much I couldn't detect. Didn't want to risk my 705 for a couple of tokens, so I left the meet. Was discouraged that I traveled 100 miles and no detecting. When I got back home the clouds opened up for about an hour. I figured I better try it. I went to a close local park. Found some clad, then this rang up strong on the 705. It came in at 6-8. Thought it was going to be foil or junk.

It's small, but 14k! Might be a blue sapphire.

Congrats on the ring, Maybe you should buy a rain cover for your detector. I'd hate to drive 100 miles and not detect because of some rain.

Congrats on your nice looking ring & thanks for sharing your pictures with us. Clad coins will add up & you can take them to bank.

Thanks for all of the comments. Now that I am working a lot of hours, detecting time is precious. So to hit another gold is always fun.
