Steam engine part?

Trying to figure out what this copper object would have been used for? Was silver plated at one time? Thanks in advance for any input! Measures approx 4”wide and 3” in height. Steam engine part?

It looks like a plumbing fixture of some kind. Maybe steam heating related.

It looks like a manifold off something. hoses would have gone on the pipes and clamped beyond the ridges with hose clamps. so one large line feeding four smaller lines.

Could be dairy related? Dairy fittings were Nickle plated.

I think you have made the ID RC on it being a milking claw (part of one).
