I was at a big flea market today, and a guy had a box FULL of steel 1943 pennies. He had 10 cents each on them, which was fair enough, so i decided to attempt at buying the whole box. it seemed as though there were about 250 or so in there, and the guy agreed, so i told him $20, he said a bit more, so i gave him $22. Great decision as it ended up giving up 480 Steel Wheat pennies, about 10 regular ones, an Indian head :) and a couple foreign!

With that many 1943 steels you should check for errors an highly doubtful but possible 1944 steel.. I don't remember the errors for the 1943 steel check online to see...

WOW :o Outstanding score. I would have done the same thing in a heartbeat :headbang:

Great!! I just finished selling 4 rolls (4 diff auctions) of steels that I got at a yard sale for $5 (total cents 220) and this is what I got per roll.
$10.51
$28.51
$15.01
$28.51

I had a lot of uncirculated and made sure they were evenly divided.
Give is a try.

Wow, their in great shape too! Good score! I'd of jumped on that too!

Wow! I have 9 rolls of those things I've collected off of bank magnets.
Guess I need to get some listed!

Great Find Brendan!
Coins are my passion--besides yard sales! Those are some great keepers!
