Herbie and I got together on 8/29-30.Had a super time on the mud flats and shore line.Herbie sure has that Minelab down to a science,of course he's been searching those mud flats for months,first time for me!!!Got some pretty nice eye finds,stuff is EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!Marbles,glass,bottles,buttons,top to a tea pot and a cool old sparkplug,couple of copper pieces,36 cents.Herbie holds his own, did alright for himself,me,that's another story.Did some hookah diving at high tide,used the pressure line on the dredge to blow the mud off.As always,I,m on the other end of the lens.Started before sunrise,low tide at 6:30.SunRise.Herbie and Lori are some real right nice folks I'm tellin ya,reminds me of Southern Hospitality.Hopefully I'll get back up there after I get back from Jamacia.Nov.,Herbie's coming down here to do a little coil swingin,no mud flats down here not salt water,got the river banks though,that's where I get some nice eye finds.Got a real sweet spot only me and Herbie know about,think I'll show him around a bit!Thanks again Herbie and Lori GodBless Chris

Hispan,Herbie and Lori are really nice folks!Planning on going back up there in Oct.Maybe even find some Spanish loot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hope so.Didn't have room in my pouch for all that I found,got to get a bigger pouch,that's for sure!

We hit a bunch of sites, sometimes the cookie just crumbles though :icon_scratch:

My best find was a Navy(er, Marines) button, pretty far gone, but a 'Horstmann & Bro, Phila' a First of that BM for me :hello2:

got pewter clover #5, a fat brass 'pumpkin' pocketwatch,
a broken pewter footed bottle/urn of some sort :icon_scratch:

My first halfcent, well maybe, 22mm copper with no detail :laughing7:

another lead workmans token,
and a bunch of shotshell bases, 10 & 12 'Smokeless', i think those are pretty old...
Looking forward to diggin together again soon!

Nice y'all got out together. I see a Marines button there in the mix. That sun was brutal on the back of mine and Getty's neck this past weekend.....looks like Herbie was catching it as well! :icon_thumleft:

I went through the Navy/Marines confusion for the second time now :tongue3:
