Got out with a friend today at an old park. I dug a Mexican Sterling concho pin and some clad.

My buddy found this Tiffany Sterling earring

Then, to top it off he scored this 1931 Missouri Chauffeur badge

I was bummed because I had just left that same area and might have ignored the clad cent type signal the badge gave off :BangHead:

Still a great day and good for him! He deserves it.

I know! I know! :BangHead:
Won't happen again and I did start doing that after he showed me the badge. Of course I got more clad cents. The new shield cent is my nemesis.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Nice finds !

A Chauffeur Badge is still on my hit list - we live in farm country so I don't know if I'll ever find one.
Most seem to be found around larger cities.

Good Hunting !

Those are some great finds for sure...thanks for posting !

Killer hunt, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Nice finds Gopher. I like that Chauffeur's badge. The same thing happened to a club member and myself, except I was on the good side of the deal. We were walking up a path in a Forest Preserve, and I noticed him stop in front of me. He checked the signal, then moved on. As I approached the same area, I also got the signal but dug it because it was solid. After retrieving my item, I yelled to the guy in front of me to come back and see what he just passed on. It was a very nice Forest Preserve's Guard Badge, similar to a Policeman's badge. It now sits proudly in my display case, and my fellow club member wishes he had dug that signal. Dig it all !

That's an amazing story and good for you!
I'd enjoy seeing that badge!

I'd love to find a chauffeur's badge like that...it's a 31 in my avatar!
