Sterling silver cross

Hey guys, found this metal detecting this morning with my nox 800. I know its a long shot but any one have an idea of how old it might be?? It's stamped sterling on the bottom, but any ideas!?!?

1960's, I am not sure why the edges have only chemically darkened?
