How much does it weigh? I am not suggesting to melt it, but was wondering if it is a heavy or lightweight brooch. Here's a website with some modern and vintage sterling dragon brooches. It might give you a general idea of the going price.

Thanks Breezie ! :thumbsup: I would never melt this in fact I have a friend that wants to make copy's.I havent decided if I want to do that yet...not sure if I would want to have copy's of something that may be one of a kind.It weighs 16.5 grams.This is one of my all time favorite finds.
