Steroid use by detectorists

Based on the increased number of significant finds on this board and with the physical evidence of specific detectorists getting 'huge' (KirkPa), I am sorry to conclude that the use of steroids in this sport is becoming overwhelmingly evident and is negatively impacting the integrity of this 'sport'. I urge all detectorists to stop using performance enhancing substances and get 'huge' the old fashioned way by detecting with a Minelab SE or other equivalently heavy detector for 8 hrs. per day ad nauseum.
As self-appointed commissioner of our sport I will engage the former Senator George Mitchell to lead an unbiased and far-reaching investigation into the use of steroids in the MD sport and will then take punitive action on those who are obviously beefing up while also swinging a Tesoro Silver uMax.

For the integrity of the sport...knock it off!
