I can't wait for the Wheat to be harvested, as I have some great sites lined up, but this wet weather has prevented it, got soaked today but it was worth it.

4 Hours on my own:
22 roman Coins
1839 Silver Sixpence
Broken Roman bits...
Nice ringing Crotal Bell
Cool loco Button.

Roll on harvest :icon_sunny:

Yes after work, & the bell is probably 16th-17th C.

Looks like it did some heavy smoking :D

Those buttons you get are incredible except for my cival war buttons all the rest are just blank civilian buttons mostly from the mid to late 19th century a few older,If you cant find coins buttons are my next favorite thing to detect. Art Of Fact

You are a juggernaut :headbang: Why not just harvest the wheat yourself and finish up that site :laughing9: You get amazing finds day after day :notworthy:

Geesh. I'm ready to throw in the towel, my littel do-dads amount to nothing in comparison to these fantastic finds.

You need to write a book about the history all of your finds. Looks like you are cleaning up. Good hunt clearing out the Roman site :read2:

You are the Roman Coin Hoover this year! I'd say that's a great solo hunt. I also like the locomotive work clothes button. :)

Great post,

We have two other known Roman Sites to do this year that we found last year. They are going to be good, maybe not the no.s of this site but the quality.

We also have two other possible sites, spotted on the aerial shots. Plus a site which we have nearly cleared after 10 years, but might get the odd coin from.

Very nice Crotal, also never seen that pattern. And the Loco button is neat...!

You guys are a great asset to this site ,, is a never ending slide show of history!!!
