When it rains, it pours. I can't shake this flu and cold. This is day ten. On top of that I found out my LRL idea is not exactly new. Win some, you lose some.

I actually posted this to make the skeptics feel good. They need it.

Yeah, I hit 'em pretty hard. You always tell how many complaints the mod's get. The skeptics don't get their way they do the cop out thing. Must be a sad life if that's all you got to do.

Hope you get better soon. We've played with a LRL over the years and have a need for a dc powered frequency generator. Managed to burn out a Simpson 420D FG and just wondering if you know anyone who can repair the dc-dc convertor (yes 6v doesn't react well to 12v, DUH). Are there any FG on the market or used that are battery powered? The 420D is rare as hens teeth compared to a plain 420. Thanks Bob

I hope by now your over the flu. It hung on with me 2 weeks. It won't be long now, our snow is melting more every day here in Michigan. Its just patchy now.
