Still Unsolved

I think I posted this a while back when it was illegible before it was cleaned. It says Thomas, Muncie, Ind. I assume it means Muncie, Indiana, but maybe it could also be Thomas Industries, Muncie? I have no idea please drop a line if you think you have an answer. As always thanks for looking!

I would say the "MUNCIE" goes with "IND".
They are the same font and size.

There is indeed a Thomas, Indiana (I had to Google it) -- but then why have "MUNCIE" on the button.... or whatever it is?
I doubt it's for a Thomas Industries in Muncie. Maybe? But seems unlikely to me.
