Need help with this map... to me it looks like 3 hills, a water source like a creek, then 1 hill. on my property I have 3 hills to the west, a large creek, then 1 hill on the east. Unsure if Native American or what... Thank you:hello2: 20160912_155432.webp20160912_160255.webp20160912_160555.webp20160912_160916.webp

What are the dimensions of the bridge and what material was used, how much are you asking?? LOL just kiddin I for one was kiddin around its a rock Treasure hunter is right again its a rock rock rock rock Was that the bridge bugs bunny always said jim broddie jumped off!!!

Could it be a broken chunk of some larger mound/temple builders petroglyph? A broken step once trod upon by ancient tribal kings and high priests?
I'd invest in Ground Penetrating Radar.

I think 100acre is correct this could be King Tuts stoop the ancient writing on this priceless tablet/step could be the path that leads to the Holy Grail if you can read between the lines

Photograph it again in a dark room using only a flashlight.
Interested in seeing your results.
Any story connected to it?

These are some of my favorite posts!

That is obviously a treasure map. It is a bit weathered, but treasure map just the same. You disbelieving dolts are just showing your ignorance.

CME, Have you followed the map? I would be chomping at the bit to get out to the field and see what is out there.

Please update us soon.

I would hate to disagree with all the believers in the map, but it m pretty sure those grooves are fossils.

Like Scrappy said "petrified worms". Maybe not worms per se, but surely some little wormlike creature.

The impression of rings indicate body segments. These rings wouldn't be in the grooves had they been carved by hand, they run the wrong direction.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1473949752.706686.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1473949773.131087.webp

It is a map. I've seen a lot of them. It is weathered. The ones of you who don't know what it is or playing around. Stop it . This is a serious tread for the educated few. If you want to learn you need to read up. No relic lover this is me.

Yes the lighting is off for a good picture. You will get more details . Don't use direct lighting. Remember those who made it did so with candle or lantern light. It is one of your best pieces. You should be able to tell what place it referring to in your area. Keep that part quite.

Your looking at it all wrong. Your looking at it like a geologist. If you were a student of the old treasure signs and symbols you would see a difference. We are dealing with the old order of Jesuits. There were other different orders but this one has their sign on it. If they didn't put their initials on then they used another clue. You guys need to learn this stuff because you pass by some good artifacts . Don't take me wrong. I'm not cutting you down just trying to educate.

Bob, we are not playing around, it is a disservice to members to encourage members to look for and collect plain rocks telling them it is an artifact when it is just a weathered or fossil rock and an over active imagination.

And it a disservice to talk about things you don't understand. I do know what it is. There are plenty examples on TN. I will stand by what I've said. Just because some of you don't understand what you see. There are plenty that do know what her stone is. We can go round and round with this if you please. Who are you to say what it is if you don't know stone map and rock carvings. On every large treasure site you can find exactly the same thing. It's the blue print of the site. One of these days you'll may learn something new. You want if you don't open your minds up a little. If you would like to have a sample I would be glad to supply you with one. That goes for you to mod.

I can say what it is as much as you can imagine what it is and I have no use for plain rocks, I can picked them up anywhere.

No imagination require on my part. Would you admit it if your wrong? Let's see where it goes from here. Leave the tread to itself. Right now it's 50/50. Unless your here to censor information from getting out. Sit back and watch.

Who carves a treasure map into a 3" wide rock?

The same people that worked the large monuments across the country

There are more than one group of people. There is one order who don't want people to know what all is out there. If your not among the group that is. It how they make a living. You will never hear what they uncover on here. You will only hear about the hard working ones that have broken the code. But you will never know for sure. The information is out there. Just ask the founder of Treasure net.

What make you think I'm not. I haven't had to work since I was 29 yrs old and you.

Then show is one of your rock maps and that led to the resulting treasure you found. I want to see pics of the treasure. I mean you already found it and it made you rich so there should be no reason not to show the results. If you truly want to educate people and claim to have seen "hundreds" of these surely they would have produced something. If not they are just rocks.
