Now that I'm here, I'm curious about this stone piece I've had for a long time. My grandpa had a field in the 40s and 50s and found a couple artifacts back then. IMG_4160.webpIMG_4159.webp.

From what I can see it looks natural maybe a flint nodule, welcome to the forum

Unfortunately, that is not an artifact. That was formed by natural erosion of a softer stone eroding quicker that the hard part on the end. Actually a fairly common find for Ohio.
 
Ok that is nice to know, and I love it anyway. When I was little I thought it was part of a stegosaurus :) so it's certainly changed status over the years, but it's been in the box with all of my fossils and arrowheads all this time. Thank you for the info!
