Hi guys. Was mountain biking in Central VA and stepped on this in a creek. Probably just a cool lookin rock... but something about its shape says "man-made tool" to my untrained eye and I couldn't google my way to an answer. Thanks in advance for humoring me!

FYI, I increased the contrast on these ones just a little bit to make the detail easier to see:

Your item is a water worn river rock. It is not a Native American artifact.

P.S. Belated welcome to tnet.

looks like just a rock to me as well. keep looking , there are plenty of stone artifacts here in central Va .
I'm within 6 miles of dead center of the state and do find points here from the Powhatan tribe.

Welcome to Tnet. I, too think it's natural, but I want to comment on your cool name. There is a Nanih Waiya lake in Oklahoma, beautiful place. If I remember correctly the sign says that's Choctaw, meaning Holy Hill.

Nanih Waiya is a Choctaw name! The lake in OK is probably named after the original ancient mound Nanih Waiya in Mississippi which had huge religious significance for the Choctaw :)

I have Choctaw ancestors, from the S.C. area, though my dad hails from OK.
