I saw Bald Eagle last week flying just above the upper Arkansas River around Cotopaxi, Colorado flying the same direction I was, which was upstream. I was going just a little faster than what he was flying, so I got to travel side by side with the eagle for a bit. Their numbers are doing quite well around here now and I've spotted nest and eagles all along the the North Plate River driving along I80 in Nebraska and most the major rivers throughout the Rocky Mountain West
