Straight Rod for the Excal 1000

I want to purchase a straight rod for my used Excal 1000. I looked on eBay and there is one listed which the seller states is the best one around. That gets me thinking that there is more then one type of straight rod for the Excal and of course this seller is going to state that theirs is the best. Does anyone have feedback on a straight rod they have purchased for the Excal 1000?

I want this to be a one time purchase so I want to get the best one the first time.
