The farmer next to us has a whole box of these relics.
I'm just glad we found one.
Went to the arrowhead dating / ID website and hard to say... but looks like anywhere from
1000 - 4000 years old.

I have found a few just like it . Same quartz, very nice . Just a little downstream from there.There are a few areas where they used to grind corn and acorns on the shoals there are depressions similar to boil holes .But a little different shape .They would grind them with a forward and back motion making a oblong depression in the bedrock shoals .These are above the(present) river. Some are on large flat top boulders as well .I have found several in that area. That river had a lot of activity .Actually, we found nice pottery earlier in the year and now this.
