Got out abit yesterday to the fairgrounds while the weather was nice. Found the normal clad and junk but got a real strong coin signal at one point....scanned the surface with my high dollar centech probe(lol) which went off like a fire alarm in a five or six inch square area and about three inches from the ground. Dug down about four inches and found a spherical magnet about the diameter of a quarter.. I have never seen a round magnet and thought it might be a cow magnet but those are more like a cylinder shape with rounded ends...
Anyone seen something like this??????????

Yea... it's a irreguar find regardless.

I was at the inclined railroad at Chattanoga last week and they had a basket full of those round magnets in the souviner shop. First ones I have ever seen.

More importantly, what the hell is a "cow magnet"?

I asked the same question curbdiggercarl did.............. ???(thought it might be me at closing time of some drinking establishments I have frequented) ;D guess it's just a refridgerator magnet.......... :)

That's neat! I hope it didn't F up your searchcoil. :tard:
