🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Strange Ring Found

I found what looks like an old ring at an old house I metal detected with a c or s logo on it I'm not sure and it isn't in the best condition but does anybody know anything about this ring and what the logo on it is help me out please 🙂

Try cleaning it up a bit more, may have a makers mark or something inside the band. I would assume the S was the wearer's initial.

Bent spoon handle, perhaps? Are both ends connected to the underside of the surface with the "S" on it, or is one end free?
