Firstly thanks for the lift from Shaun7, better late than never
Cru'dad was away & Shaun7 picked up the baton, but it was hard work on this new land, with only 4.5 hours & hundreds of acres to look at :P

My start was a little too good with a cut hammered of King John (circa 1200) after 40 mins. Found it whilst cutting across a field at pace to get to a potential area. We gridded with not much else to show, so carried on.

Only other finds of note were:

Rose Farthing (1620s)
Tudor Buckle
Broken 17th C Buckle
18th C Clog Clasp
2 Broken Crotal Bells

Shaun7 had the find of the day  :hello2:

:icon_scratch: 16th C is Tudor, these spanned several hundred years (double-looped or spectacle buckles)

Broken 17th C Spur Buckle is below :icon_thumright:

Looks like You two had a good day! I like the range of finds in Your fields. :icon_thumleft:
Where did the unfired cal. .50 rounds came from? Do You have crash sites in You area? I we hit one we have to leave. so littered with aluminum that You cannot make one single swing without hitting a signal...

These WWII 50cal were mostly dropped out of aircraft before landing.

We do have some crash sites, but this is no-where near one.

Easy way to reduce weight when short on fuel.... ::) Be careful when playing with the blue and silver tips! Better wear sunglasses! :tongue3:

Also, if your coming in hard, you don't want explosives aboard, or when your on fire.
