Returned to a large plantation site I have been hunting on and off for a few years and it always produces. Found a new little hot spot where I believe was yet another outbuilding and dug this gorgeous Reale and a unique pocket knife and old suspender type clip amongst some unknown relics . Looks like the toasted copper may be a draped bust or Liberty cap .

1787 and you can still see his smile 👍

Nice Finds. That reale is great. I have only found two Spanish silvers with a portrait, and both were well worn.. That one of yours is a beauty. Congrats.

Awesome!!! Congrats!!!

Superb reale! I'd have a heart attack if I dug that up!!

Your knife is an American made c.1920s-1940s "regular jack" pattern with celluloid scales in a style usually known as glitterstripe. Post a photo of the other (obverse) side and I might be able to tell you a little more.

I posted new photos of knife . Any idea how to get the rust off so blades can open again ?

Congrats on the beautiful silver.
That's a really nice clothing fastener, not many are dug on this side of the pond.
