If any coin screams medieval, it's an hammered silver groat. This afternoon this fantastic example came to light. Looks like an Henry VI , Annulet issue, 1422-30, Calais mint. Very happy with this, time for a beer :occasion14:. The others finds, included a seal like object, showing a coat of arms. Took some completely uncleaned pics of the groat, and some after a rinse in water. I think after a proper clean, the coin will look fantastic. Robert.
