Is there a source for GPH and PSI demands for various size suction nozzles? Or perhaps a formula? Of course it is safe to go larger on the pump; but a lot of us have to hand carry the equipment in so overkill on a pump is not always a good thing.
Going through the various dredge dealers I see varying stats for their equipment outfits. Going through the forums I see varying recommendations as well. Some of us have access to various pumps but just cannot determine the best size nozzles and hoses to match up with them.
Is there a trade off between gph and psi? Such as which would be better; a 3000 gph@32 psi or a 2200 gph@51 psi?
Aware of all the other variables such as elevation and distance. Just trying to get a feel in order to be prepared a little more when determining a build.
