We decided to return to the new 100 acre (2 Field) area. We blind hunted it for 2 hours last time & this time although I had done the aerial research & the Archie research without result, I felt it was worth a morning hunt. We thought there should be at least a hammered somewhere whilst we looked for a hot-spot. Cru'dad not only got one in each field but he got the 3rd from the Roman Site after Lunch.:laughing7: Keeps our 15 for 15 alive! (unheard of this time of year; for us that is)

5 hours & 15 Minutes;

Livery & 17th C Button
7 Scrappies
Medieval Horse Harness Pendant cira 14th C
Part of a Medieval Knife fitment
Poor quality hammered Lizzy Halfgroat & a cut Henry III
Henry VII circa 1495 Halfgroat - Canterbury Mint

Yeap, sure is, nice to have it complete, other than its hanger but those normally stay on the leather.

Let us know when you start your own guided MD'ing business! The son and I are in!!! :laughing7:

Beautiful finds as usual! :occasion14:

You know what they say about mixing business & pleasure, often doesn't work out on either side.:thumbsup: I'll just stick to the pleasure bit.

Awesome hunt! Congrats on the hammered silvers!

You and your Dad never fail to produce the goods. :thumbsup:
I love this 14th Medieval Horse Harness Pendant.

Us too. Cru'dad found this early in the hunt & it took the pressure off & reassured me that wealthy people were travelling across this field, as I suspected.

I'd love to find something similar this pendant here in Ontario Cru.
But as you know, our country is a young one, so anything I find over two hundred years old is a bonus for me. :laughing7:

Best of luck to you and your Dad this year,
Dave
