Sunday Artifact 6-28-20

2 3/4 by 1 5/8 I'm guessing Newnan found by me in Hillsborough County Florida at a dig site. It's paper thin and to be honest I'm surprised I didn't smash it with the shovel. It's made from tan baybottom chert (rare for me, my usual baybottom material was grey/white). It's a little off being symmetrical, would have loved to have seen this one first stage.

I can do that, a old friend once said it looked like a Newnan/ Hillsborough hybrid too him.

The main reason I miss Florida, the humidity was terrible but finding the artifacts was worth it.
