Met up with HEAVYMETALNUT and Todd to check out some Colonial cellars more out my way..
The first cellar was slow going but producing Colonial relics here and there..Got 3 buttons in one hole
Decided to find another one on the property and what do you know, dig holes everywhere
So we headed out to find a cellar that has been on my mind for a while
Well after some brush breaking we arrived on site to our astonishment at the Glorious monster chimney with a walk in Cellar!!
Right away Todd got a Matron Head and i got a coat size Colonial button..After that it was slow going..It is a huge area and the outer walls could produce more..
This chimney had a cellar forgery fireplace or baking oven, one on the first floor and a fireplace on the second floor..Notice the giant rock on and angle acting as a duct letting the smoke go behind the second floor fireplace
Also the rock acting as a shelf for the hot pots on the first floor..
The basement chimney foundation blocks look as if they could have been made in a modern factory..They are perfect..
Have fun out there
