Nothing worth bragging about on my Sunday finds. Two things I was curious about though was a possible cast iron piece with glass fragments encrusted on both sides & a .22 copper casing with "Super" on it. My greatest find of Sunday was without the detector ??? A nice crisp dollar bill along the riverbank. Good times! Thanks for reading.

That cast iron-encrusted glass appears to be a concretion - when metal rusts around trash or other material and encases it. :cat:

Finding greenery is always fun! Congrats. -Lisa & John

Maybe George has some friends hanging out close by!:laughing7:

Yeah wish Benjamin was hanging around that day with George! Lol

The casing looks closer to a 30-30 than a .22
And as previously mentioned it's a Winchester Super X
