It has been a year at this site and it still is giving. We got out for just a few hours and found one of my best looking silvers.

The Barber popped out of some beautiful grey soil and is immaculate. I saw the 1895 and flipped it saying, "please let the O be there!" But it wasn't. I am still very happy with a 125yr old coin looking this nice.

The CW bullet is a strange shade of brown. I have never seen one this color out of this property. It was in orange clay and road gravel. Maybe the clay did it. In great shape as well.

The button has a nice design on the front but a strange back. Any idea of what it was on or age? Looks old lol.

The keyhole cover was the 3rd I have found at this site. Love them. Last was a large spoon bowl and some bullets.

Last week all I pulled out was this

Made me want to go home and get a beer!

Thanks for the look!

Awesome finds, always keep going back ! they are never ever hunted out just may take a little more time , I have been going back to some of my sites for thirty years and still pull coins and relics, may be not always but there still there.

It was like all the youtuber videos I watch. It popped out on top of the plug. I made a small video and thought it was a seated. But turned it and saw the head. I saw the date and flipped it looking for the O. Most of the coins we have pulled from this site have had the New Orleans mint mark. I pulled a 1896 O a while back and knew the 1895 O was a key date. I was excited and brushed the dirt and saw no mint mark. I soaked it in a little warm water and baking soda. When it came out I was shocked it looked the way it does. Like brand new! I will likely get it graded, but will not sell it. I still have the 1854 O Seated dime with arrows that looks better than this one. Probably will have both graded.

Thanks for all the comments! Can't wait to get out this weekend!

Cool relics, killer Barber! :notworthy:
