Would of been a creek day but had to do my 1st mow of the New Year. That being said and lawn mowed I went for just a couple of hours to the farm field. Bulls were in the other field so I just took my time had to watch out for the horses but they just watched me from the distance. They just got done dragging the field and no rain has fallen on it yet. I was kicking dirt clogs and found this nice Jasper point under one. It ended up being a clog contest after that kicking everyone I saw. Last one looks to be a scraper or preform. HH, rock

Some material patinas more than others and if you soak them in water before the pic the color will come out. If I was to let some be dry you would never be able to see the color of the stone. That is the reason some of mine are wet. Guess I could rub mineral oil on them and pat it dry next time.

Rain has finally stopped for now. Hopefully they will start plowing and disc in the fields soon. Sooner they plant sooner the harvest. Thanks for the encouragement

Please don't ever put mineral oil on your points! I just prefer to see them naturally, Just my preference.

nearly everything i find is jasper where i am...nice finds, great stone.
