They are also selling on ebay.

I’ve looked at the ones on eBay. I would not purchase from eBay, prices are outrageous. $420.00US..no thanks. Shipping alone on most of them was over $100.00. He’ll no. I paid $220.00US plus $70.00 shipping and custom ordered with 1/4 inch holes instead of the slots in the rear because I’ve heard guys say not to get the slots as pull tabs slide right through. ...I know that price is with the CF handle but I’ll settle for a wood handle. I’ve never broken a wood handle yet. I always take a spare scoop too.

For sure, they are great scoops and worth every cent but why would I buy from eBay and spend and extra $150.00 when I can get it custom to my liking and made for cheaper right from Sun Spot??? Maybe some like throwing their $$$ away but I don’t. 110.00 for shipping?? Gimme a break.

I really like my old scoop. If they still made it, I'd probably buy 2 more. I welded a 1/4" SS rod into the bottom of the basket. With these Okinawa beaches and all of the coral, boulders, and other large BS, I really need something that can pry. This one has fit the bill for many many moons, and I'm pretty skeptical about anything else on the market that can take the abuse I'll put it through.

Very nice idea! That rod definitely adds more strength. I love the design of the original Stealth. The new owners are quite nice but were a little hard to understand on the phone. I believe the people are Philippino. Betty who I talked to was very nice. I bet if you asked her, they would make you another one. My scoop just arrived at Vancouver this morn, I should have it in a couple days hopefully.
