Super thin Blade! KY find

The blade is extremely thin. Very nice material. Any idea if this was a knife? Any way to put a date on this one?

Either knife or preform, maybe broken during manufacture if the patina is the same on the broken area.

Nice find, I would venture to say it is very old. Trans Paleo at least. It looks like a Stanfield base and while rare to Kentucky it is found there. I have dozens of them from here in Florida ( all broken too) and they look exactly like yours.
