Just wondering if any of you CRHers have any superstitions or use and good luck charms when CRHing? I know rileyboy has his good luck charm Riley in the passenger seat when he goes hunting and that seems to bring copious amounts of silver coins his way. Personally, I do not have any good luck charms or superstitions but I found a very worn '64 half a few weeks back and was thinking that it was probably someones lucky pocket coin. Thanks for sharing your superstitions and/or good luck charms!

i dont usually, but if i hit a good box, the next box i open i will sit in the same seat, open the rolls in the same order, and do everything exactly the same as i did when i opened the box that had plentiful amounts of silver or other valuable coins in it. keep it up and hh!

To ensure my dumps are the correct amount i replace any keepers I take from boxes. Sometimes I will grab a few or a handful of coins I expect to need while replacing keepers. I usually over estimate, but gives me something to hope for.

$ilver$urfer,
Yup....My dog, "Riley" is my good luck charm. Whenever I take him with me on a short road trip for the day, I usually score some silver. He's the "man"!

If I find a chicken riding on the rear axle of my truck, it's going to be a good day.

Patterns patterns patterns. That is all im concerned about when i go on a hunt , dump , or order boxes. In my experiences in my area the square boxes produce a little better then the rectangular. Also how often does a machine fill up or how often is it cleaned out tells me how much i can dump low profile or if another collector is in my area. I would probably bore most with my notebook of notes for the hunt or dump.
