The Virginia Beach Surf Pirates are roaming the surf lanes looking for loot. We invite any one who would like to participate in treasure hunting to join us. You will usually find at least one of us plundering in the sand of the Virginia Beach Surf Lane.

Water temp. in Va. Beach is still quite warm no need for wet suit yet. We usually hunt in just a batihing suit until late Oct. or early Nov.

yea must be nice...the water temp up here in New Hampshire in late July is a wopping 63..what temp do you start to wear your wet suit

Wet suits come out in November for some. However, it is not uncommon for us to hunt in shors until December.

I like the shovel and scoop but I guess I like the sword better than the detector. Too much of a mouthful with the detector.
