This is a tip that should be but isn't practiced by nearly enough of us....this should be as automatic as putting the find in your pouch !!

Great Tip will have to try it next time to the beach, I'm usually near the water and the water usually fills in my hole before I get the target out. Enclosed the nut from Folly Beach,S.C. after Huricane Igor. The C.War bullet came near the waters edge.
