Surprise gold at end of day.

Spent almost 4 hours in a school field in 101 degree heat. Cleaned up a ton of trash and found a handful of junk jewelry. Haven't had a lot of luck in a long time. I go back home defeated and worn out from the heat. Sit around it gets to be around 7:30pm I say heck with it since it's cooled off I go out to metal detect the backyard to just kill time just thinking I'll be cleaning trash out. My second signal is a broken mid tone sounds like aluminum trash. I dig it and spot the color or gold. I pick it up and it's a gold ring. I get so excited I drop it and it bounces off the shovel and I almost panic because I can't find it then realize oh yeah I have a detector lol. Find it quickly again. Was a nice little surprise right in the backyard.

I've done most of my own yard with no luck on silver or gold. However, I do have a few more spots to try in the back......

Just moved into this house. Relatively new home build in the 70s. So wasn't expecting much cleared the front of all signals. Only found change and a 1960s Mexican coin. Had done the back yard once cleared a lot but was a ton of trash. Finally cleared it all yesterday
