Surprise gold at end of day.

Spent almost 4 hours in a school field in 101 degree heat. Cleaned up a ton of trash and found a handful of junk jewelry. Haven't had a lot of luck in a long time. I go back home defeated and worn out from the heat. Sit around it gets to be around 7:30pm I say heck with it since it's cooled off I go out to metal detect the backyard to just kill time just thinking I'll be cleaning trash out. My second signal is a broken mid tone sounds like aluminum trash. I dig it and spot the color or gold. I pick it up and it's a gold ring. I get so excited I drop it and it bounces off the shovel and I almost panic because I can't find it then realize oh yeah I have a detector lol. Find it quickly again. Was a nice little surprise right in the backyard.

I don't have the best of luck with the hobby so the time I do have luck I just get so excited. California can be difficult to get good metal detecting in.

A 14k and i think a M I need to take a closer look. Waiting for my younger brother to come around his phone has a 200mp camera on it and can zoom really clear.
