goodguy, i have one of those u.s. generals myself.the heft and blade length remind me of a short sword.the items inside the handle could be worth their weight in gold.but mainly carry a mini kbar.8 inches overall.surgically sharp.love all kbars,camiluses etc.if going far,staying long,would also have a stanley,tool box size,sharky hand saw.will cut trees,bones,quarter an elk.weighes a half pound.and a magnesium fire starter.jet boil stove.an usually a 1911.
