Sutlers Token or Trade Token?

I found this at a Civil War site that has turned up a lot of New York Civil War items, including an SNY buckle and New York buttons. I can make out the words Long Beach on the back of the token, and I did determine that there is a Long Beach New York. Any ideas as to what this is? Thank you!
