Went out yesterday, after work, to the State Park. Found 16 regular pennies, 3 dimes, 2 quarters and 3 nickels, one of which was a 1943! My first silver find! I was SO excited! Albeit, not TOTAL silver but hey, it's good enough for me. lol There is a LOT of territory there, so it should keep me occupied for quite a while.

Way to go Elk! Congrats on the silver!

:)

Congrats on the first silver. Yes, it counts.
The war nickels are cool and kind of a rare find, well done.
Keep it going, best of luck!

Smiles!

Congrats on the war nickle.

What state park is it. I thought most were off limits.

Most State Parks in PA or ok with MD'ing...you just have to stop in at the park office and register. They then give you a copy to carry with you. I know a lot of states don't allow this.

Some state Parks in PA, like the ones in my area,
you ask once & ask if you need to everytime.
They say No just come whenever and Enjoy.
No Papers to sign or Carry.

Nice silver! Your now in the silver club! ;D I remember when my first silver was a ring! Still havnt found any after that!
