Local swim pools closed down for winter, so decided to hit them this weekend. While detecting one of the swim parks, I was approached by another MDer who asked what parts I hunted already. I informed him which area and off he went. When I was leaving the park I stopped and asked him how he was going only to find out that he had found his first gold ring... :o. There was a horse shoe one side and a #7 on the other side with a 10K stamped on the inside. I congratulated him on his find and wished him luck with the remainder of the area. Head to other swim park and hunted only a small portion of this particular park due to the size, plus it was getting late.

Total finds at both parks;
4 Quarters
8 Dimes
7 Nickles
15 Pennies
Faucet - Lower Half of World - Smashed finger guard - D-ring - Broken chain fence link - Pants rivet - Yellow rod - Leafs

Hey 49er

Great finds! You found "half the world"? What is that??! And what are "leaf"s?
That faucet cracked me up! I usually find the shut-off valves, but you got the other end!
Sounds like you had a good day...
