Got this this past summer at a yard sale and its been just sitting,more interested to know if an actual Native American piece or not,about 14 long and 2 1/2 wide,beads are glass.I know absolutely nothing about these type of items so was helping somebody might chime in

Nice beadwork and leather looks brain tanned.More than likely native made but i don't think it is very old. I would love to find one that nice!

I agree with Indian Steve - Knife sheath, well made, not old.
 
The motif of the beadwork and the method of attaching the beads (a technique known as “lazy stitch” are both traditional to the Plains Indians, but the construction of the sheath, especially the laced seams and the two belt slits are unlike any authentic sheath I have seen during many years of study.
