....Appears embossed but photo is not clear enough to read...diagonal between 9 and 12 . Does look like a modern snap-in disk but no image found . Definitely a fresh weld........

The "writing" on the disk says "Pat June 3 1913. The disk is made of a particle board type material. The "rollers" are wood. I'm still stumped.

It wouldn't be a good edge cutter/grinder because the handle is outside the disc.

The disk material is more like chip board, it doesn't make noise like a call. The disk does have some abrasiveness to it, you could be right..
