Hunted two over worked parks this weekend. Found this very large silver lid. At least I think that's what it is. Thought it was aluminum at first until I saw the monogram. Also got a big 925 ring, a silver charm, and a toasted copper. I hate it when you can't tell what they are. Oh well not a bad weekend of hunting.

Silver is Silver! I found a small earring stud next to a penny at a tot-lot (the detector found the penny, my eyeballs found the earring). Marked 925... The small amount of silver is probably worth about the same as a penny... but it's still one of my favorite finds! I just don't run across silver that often... Come to think of it... I actually find gold more frequently. How weird is that?!

Congrats on the silvers. :occasion14: Would have made for a good hunt in my book.

Good going on the silver

Nice weekend !! :icon_thumleft:

Nice silver and I agree, frustrating finding a coin and not knowing.

Very nice finds!! Congrats

Congratulations on the multi-silver hunt! I still love the old coppers.

with the cut-out, it reminds me of a lid for a sugar bowl

I think your right. Some kind of condiment lid. I found it in a picnic area.

Nice ring. Nothing size up the flat silver thing by. Could be a flat button.

Those are silvers George won't get lol. That's a VERY nice weekend's worth!

RICK!! RICK!!! RICK!!!
He's my man, if he cant do it no one can!
Nice hunt.

good job on the silver rick, nice copper too, stinks when they get toasted like that, makes ya wonder what you have, heck that can be the ever elusive chain cent!

Looks like it was a nice hunt for an over worked park.
